In 2023, I completed a project years in the making. Born from my passion for the church, I wrote a course outlining my biblical ecclesiology. More plainly, created an overview of what Scripture says about the church and how it should function. It was designed to be a primer for church leaders who couldn’t attend seminary but wanted to better understand their call to spiritual leadership.

This curriculum was an expansion of my Movement Matters study. The theology of the Restoration Movement is a foundation for modern non-denominationalism. I expounded on Movement principles and adapted it for use in any independent church.

While it’s essentially a book, I didn’t feel it was the best structure or use of resources to publish in print. Rather, Church Matters is an integrated study. The nine-part overview consists of content, group discussion, and a video segment that introduces the topic. If your church leadership team wants to explore what it really means to function as a biblically faithful church, this can start those conversations.

I published the content through CDF Capital’s Teachable platform. You simply need to sign up for the course and all the assets you need are available. Click here to go to the website.
